Manchester United transfer target Paulo Dybala likes Instagram post urging him to stay at Juventus

Paulo Dybala liked an Instagram post urging him to stay at Juventus as Manchester United continue talks to sign the Argentine forward.

Dybala could join United in a swap deal after Romelu Lukaku agreed to link up with Maurizio Sarri in Turin. The deal now hinges on Dybala accepting a move to Manchester.

The 25-year-old is believed to be asking for €10million a year net to make the move to Old Trafford. Dybala currently earns €7.5m per year at Juve.

Dybala is a popular figure in Turin and after news emerged that he could be leaving the club on Tuesday night, one social media fan account urged him to remain at the club.

"This is your destiny Paulo, be the number 10 of Juventus, follow the footsteps of Alessandro Del Piero, wear the captain's armband in the future and become a legend like him," an Instagram post read.

"It's already written Paulo, you can't leave us. Deny all these voices, please stay with us. What is Juventus without his joy?"

Dybala liked the image, which was of him pulling on the captain's armband in a Juve shirt.

United and Juve respectively value Lukaku and Dybala at around £80m each, which has made the possibility of a swap deal relatively routine, especially since United only have until next Thursday's Premier League deadline to offset the potential departure of Lukaku.

Although Dybala would represent a switch back to their superstar strategy, he fits United's long-term age range and would be a possible solution for the right wing problem position.
