Manchester United transfer news round-up: Eric Bailly and Ashley Young exits, Diego Godin contract snag

Eric Bailly could leave Manchester United and return to La Liga this summer, according to reports in Spain.

The Ivorian fell out of favour under Jose Mourinho earlier this season and has so far played just once since caretaker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's appointment.

Bailly picked up a straight red card and three-match suspension in his one appearance of the Solskjaer era, in the recent 4-1 win over Bournemouth.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Sevilla are interested in the 24-year-old centre-back even though convincing United to sell would not be easy.

Elsewhere, Ashley Young could leave Old Trafford on a free transfer at the end of the season and is attracting interest from Inter.

According to The Mirror, the Nerazzurri hope Champions League football will be enough to convince Young to move to Italy.

Young has six months remaining on his United contract and is free to negotiate pre-contract agreements with clubs outside England.

Meanwhile, over in Spain, Diego Godin appears unlikely to sign a new contract with Atletico Madrid.

Godin's current deal expires in the summer and Marca report that any chance of the 32-year-old renewing his stay is now "slim".

The Uruguayan was the subject of eleventh-hour interest from United on the final day of the summer transfer window, though United's advances failed.
