Paul Pogba and Manchester United are working to find a quick solution regarding his future, his agent confirmed.
Pogba recently expressed his desire to leave Old Trafford to find a “new challenge somewhere else” and is being closely watched by some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are reluctant to see the player leave and Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, is hopeful of a quick resolution.
“Hopefully there will be soon a satisfying solution for all parties,” he told talkSPORT.
“The player [Pogba] has done nothing wrong. He has been respectful and professional in every way and always.
“The club has known his feeling for a long time.
“It is a shame other people only like to criticise without the right information, and I am also sorry that the club does not take any position against this.
Pogba joined his teammates in Australia for training ahead of their pre-season tour amid speculation that he may leave the club.
Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Real Madrid are all interested in securing his services, but United will want to recoup at least all of the £89m they spent on him in 2016.
Real Madrid believe they can convince Pogba to choose them over Juventus and Zinedine Zidane launched a charm offensive at the end of the season in a bid to lure him to the Spanish capital. After spending £272m this window on Eden Hazard, Luak Jovic, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy and Rodrygo, Real Madrid are willing to offload James Rodriguez in order to finance a move.
The Independent recently revealed that PSG had approached United with a deal to swap Pogba for Neymar, but United turned down this offer.
Speaking in April, Solskjaer was confident that Pogba would stay at United. "You can't guarantee anything in football but yes I think Paul is going to be here," he said. "I can assure you he is now very determined to succeed at Man United.
