Manchester United are “looking to do some business” but will not “overpay”, maintains Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Norwegian insists the club are patient in their approach as the begin pre-season in Perth, Australia.
The Red Devils’ first friendly is this Saturday against Perth Glory, but Solskjaer concedes he is hopeful of new arrivals in the days to come.
“We’re still in the market and looking to do some business,” Solskjaer said at the WACA.
“We’re patient and we’re Man United, we don’t have to sell and we don’t have to overpay either. You want the right players for the right price.”
The future of Paul Pogab continues to hang over the club though, but Solskjaer is adamant the club do not need to sell.
“There’s been loads of talks and speculation about many of our players, both ins and outs, but for me it’s business as usual,” said Solskjaer.
“We don’t have any bids for our players so, other than Paul, most of our players have long contracts and we’re Manchester United, we don’t have to sell players.
“There’s agent talk all the time and, as I said, we’ve not had any bids, so that’s all I can say for this matter.”
