Manchester United tour 2019: Two Australia pre-season fixtures confirmed

Manchester United have confirmed they will play two games in Perth as part of their 2019 pre-season tour in Australia.

United will face Perth Glory and English rivals Leeds United next summer on their fifth visit to Australia - a country they first visited in 1967.

The Red Devils will take on Perth Glory on Saturday, 13 July and then face Leeds three days later on Wednesday, 17 July at the Optus Stadium in Perth.

United's CEO Ed Woodward said: Our pre-season tour is an integral part of the squad's preparation for the forthcoming season and after what will by a 44-year absence since we last played in Perth we are delighted to be returning to Western Australia to play not just one, but two games against Perth Glory and Leeds United.

"As well as preparing for the season ahead, the club will also have the opportunity to engage with our loyal fans in Australia, who last got the chance to see us play in Sydney in 2013."

How to get tickets

United have announced that fans can pre-register for tickets from 10am GMT on 28 November at www.unitedinperth.com, and will be shown live on MUTV and United's official app/.
