Manchester United have been told they already have the solution to their lingering Premier League problems.
Having finished as runners-up to neighbours Manchester City last campaign, the Old Trafford outfit recruited Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo as part of a triple statement of intent.
However, their title hopes were left in tatters before the November international break.
Still competing for silverware in the FA Cup and Champions League, the top-four remains a clear target for United now that Ralf Rangnick has taken over the baton - initially until the end of this season.
Ronaldo has already scored 14 goals since completing his sensational return move from Juventus.
Recent matches have seen Sancho show glimpses of his Borussia Dortmund form, as well, while Varane has always been the pick when it comes to their summer business - according to ex-Premier League goalkeeper turned pundit Paul Robinson.
Speaking to Football Insider, he said: "Varane was their best signing last summer.
"There is still a lot to come from him. He is a proven world-class defender.
"Defensively, United have had a lot of problems. As soon as he comes back into the team and puts a run of games together, then I'm sure there will be an improvement.

"Under Rangnick they have looked more defensively sound, on the most-part.
"When Varane gets back up to speed I think he will strengthen the spine of the team. Varane is world-class and his reading of the game and his pace is phenomenal.
"He just misses too many games through injury."
