Manchester United told 'incredible price' for Jadon Sancho and more rumours

Manchester United would have to pay a huge £120million (€140m) to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, according to reports in Germany.

Sancho is on United's radar after establishing himself as one of the finest young talents in Europe.

The 19-year-old is thought to be keen on a move away from Dortmund after a difficult spell for Lucien Favre's side with his side already preparing for life without him.

Sancho has been linked with both Liverpool and United as interest builds ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.

Bild now claim that Dortmund are not ready to let him go on the cheap and have set a £120m asking price for Sancho.

That would be more than £96.8m Barcelona paid Dortmund for Ousmane Dembele in 2017.

United are considering a January bid for Sancho having been alerted by his recent struggles at Dortmund, according to the Guardian.

Sancho was recently substituted during the first half of Dortmund’s defeat by Bayern Munich.

The 19-year-old has gone 11 games without a goal for club and country.

Meanwhile, The Mirror report that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to sign both Sancho and Erling-Braut Haaland in the January transfer window.

The Norway striker has enjoyed a stunning start to the season with 22 goals in 16 appearances, including seven in the Champions League.

Solskjaer managed the youngster at Molde which could give United an advantage over their rivals in the pursuit for the 19-year-old.

Haaland is valued at £85m which could see a deal for the duo worth more than £200m.

The Mirror suggests that United could Haaland back to Salzburg as part of the deal to get the transfer over the line in January.

Letting him return to Salzburg for the remainder of the season could see them go ahead of their rivals in the hunt for the talented striker.
