Manchester United 'told how much' Jadon Sancho would cost and more transfer rumours

Manchester United have been told they will have to pay £127million if they want to sign Jadon Sancho, according to reports.

United have been chasing Sancho since he first rose to prominence with a string of scintillating performances in his breakout season last year.

It was no surprise that Europe's biggest clubs were showing interest but he decided to stay at Borussia Dortmund where his form has continued into this campaign.

However, things didn't look good in November when Sancho was substituted at half-time in a 4-0 defeat to Bayern Munich and punished for a second time after returning late from international duty but since then he has once again proven his quality.

The 19-year-old has scored eight goals and clocked five assists in his last seven games and became the first player in Europe's top five leagues to hit double figures in goals and assists.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to strengthen his attacking positions in January and Sancho is one  of several names to have been touted along side the likes of Erling Braut Haaland, Lautaro Martinez and James Maddison.

However, according to former footballer and journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft , Dortmund won't be selling their prized asset in January.

It's claimed that 'Sancho has been told he MUST stay till summer at least. So NO January- move possible' and that when he does eventually leave it will cost ' 127 million pounds for the player.'

Meanwhile, United are interested in a move for Roma right-back Alessandro Florenzi, according to reports.

Corriere Dello Sport suggest United and Everton are both interested in signing him, although the fact United signed Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer should be enough to indicate it isn’t true.

Finally, Paul Pogba has already played his final game for United, according to reports.

The Mirror suggest United players and officials are convinced the French midfielder has played his last game for the club as speculation mounts over a January transfer exit.

The Daily Star meanwhile suggest United would be ready to let the French midfielder leave the club next month but only if his valuation of £150million is met.
