Manchester United to pay £105m for 20-goal attacker wanted by Liverpool; Arsenal linked with £40m swoop; Chelsea to offer long-term contract - latest gossip

United to spend on Felix

Record claim Manchester United are willing to meet Joao Felix's £105m buy-out clause to avoid a bidding war for the Benfica attacker.

Felix is one of Portugal's rising stars having helped Benfica to the Primeira Liga title this year, netting 20 goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions.

Yet with Real Madrid and Liverpool also interested, United are willing to cut out negotiations and trigger his release clause.

Arsenal eye up £40m Zaha

TalkSPORT report that Arsenal are preparing a £40m bid for Wilfried Zaha.

Zaha is said to be keen to leave Crystal Palace this season, and a host of clubs are interested.

The Gunners are willing to use their limited budget to bring him to the Emirates.

James offer

The Independent claim that Chelsea will offer Reece James a long-term deal this summer.

With a transfer embargo looming, the Blues are keen to tie down their best young prospects.

James starred for Wigan in a loan spell this season.
