Manchester United to go 'all out' for Moussa Dembele as Real Madrid make huge Paul Pogba bid – transfer rumours

Manchester United are said to be going "hell for leather" in their bid to land Moussa Dembele .

The Lyon striker scored two goals as the Ligue 1 side beat Arsenal in a pre-season friendly in North London with Old Trafford scouts reportedly present.

Manchester United have for months been credited with an interest in Dembele – despite the Frenchman only joining Lyon last summer in a £19.7million transfer from Celtic.

And although Dembele was quoted as saying he is happy at OL, Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer is desperate to sign him according to L’Equipe.

Following the win over Arsenal, the 23-year-old said: "I want to be an undisputed starter this season.

"I’m going to have perform well consistently. I want to have a great season with Lyon."

But this will not deter United, who are keen to sign a striker to replace Inter Milan-bound Romelu Lukaku.

Dembele is rated upwards of £40m and should he leave for that fee, Celtic are in line for a £4m windfall after inserting a 10 per cent sell-on clause in his contract.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid have offered United £145million for Paul Pogba .

According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Real are keen to wrap up the deal within the next 10 days.

Staying in England, Nicolas Pepe to Arsenal is reportedly a done deal.

According to media outlets in France, the Lille attacker will join the North London club for around £70m.

Arsenal are also closing in on a deal for Kieran Tierney after the latest round of talks with Celtic.
