Manchester United 'to be offered chance to sign' Real Madrid Keylor Navas and more transfer gossip

Manchester United will be 'offered the chance' to sign Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas in the summer, according to reports.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to be given a hefty transfer budget to improve his United squad in the summer and some of the money may have to go towards a new goalkeeper.

David De Gea only has a year remaining on his current contract with rumours suggesting Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a big money bid for the Spaniard, who has been suffering a bad run of form as of late.

United have already been linked with one La Liga 'keeper in recent weeks, with Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak.

As a result the Telegraph report that Madrid will offer United their second choice goalkeeper Navas.

It's claimed that 'it is unclear whether or not United would be interested in Navas' but they have shown interest in the Costa Rican in the past.

The Telegraph say that 'Real have instructed intermediaries to try to find an English club for Navas' and he could be used 'as part of a bid for' Paul Pogba.

Los Blancos have been heavily linked with Pogba and the Frenchman hasn't hid his admiration for the club or manager Zinedine Zidane. However, it's also reported that Navas could be sold 'independent' of any deal involving Pogba.

United have been repeatedly linked with PSV's speedy winger since his impressive displays for Mexico in the World Cup, where he scored against Germany.

Yet Corriere dello Sport claim that a meeting was held between Lozano's agent Mino Raiolo, Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti and president Aurelio de Laurentiis.

The 23-year-old will reportedly sign a five-year deal for a fee around €40m.
