Manchester United tipped to sign five more players after Tyrell Malacia transfer

Manchester United are being tipped to complete five more signings during the summer transfer window after Erik ten Hag made his move for Netherlands defender Tyrell Malacia. The 22-year-old has signed for an initial €15million, from Feyenoord, and will compete with Luke Shaw for a place at left-back.

Free agent Christian Eriksen is also edging towards a move to Old Trafford and bookmakers SkyBet have, as things stand, frozen the market to determine his next club. Eriksen spent the second half of last season at Brentford - and the Bees wanted to keep him amid further interest from United and other clubs.

Eriksen, 30, has verbally agreed a transfer and Manchester Evening News understands he will sign for the club on a three-year deal. It's expected that he will become signing number two.
