Manchester United tipped to sign Bruno Fernandes as Liverpool FC's hopes drift

Manchester United have received an encouraging boost in the quest to land Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon, as they are ranked as the favourites to land his signature.

The Red Devils are among a host of clubs being linked with a move for the Portuguese international this summer, with Liverpool also linked with bringing the 24-year-old to the Premier League.

A deal will be an expensive one, judging by the recent comments from club chief Frederico Varandas but United have cash to spend - and they're seen as the leading contenders for his services.

Oddschecker shows that United's odds of signing Fernandes this summer have been considerably shortened, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side now 1/3 to bring him to England.

That is a considerable change from last week, where United were seen as 8/15 to land his signature, and it comes alongside the news that Liverpool's odds continue to drift.

Jurgen Klopp's side are still seen as second-favourites in the running but their hopes are now priced at 9/4 and their odds have continued to drift since the start of the month.

Manchester City's chances are also drifting, with their best price now standing at 4/1 but they are as long as 20/1 in some markets, while Tottenham's shortest odds are 33/1.

A full list of selected odds can be found below.
