Manchester United tipped to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer eyes next transfer

Manchester United are expected to begin a busy summer in the transfer market by signing Swansea City winger Daniel James.

The Manchester Evening News understands that the 21-year-old has agreed personal terms at Old Trafford ahead of a transfer fee being worked out between the clubs.

James is expected to be confirmed as a United player in a possible £15million deal this summer as the rebuild gathers pace.

Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also on the radar of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he looks to solve his right-back problem.

Club captain Antonio Valencia is leaving United this summer while Matteo Darmian could also depart, leaving a gap in the right side of defence.

Wan-Bissaka has enjoyed a brilliant breakthrough season at Palace and he is valued at £50m by the Eagles.

The England under-21 international is odds-on to make the switch to Old Trafford with Betfair pricing him at 2/5 to join United.

Arsenal and Man City are both priced at 8/1 while a move to Bayern Munich is at 12/1.

Wan-Bissaka has three years left on his current contract at Selhurst Park and Palace are reported to be looking for United to pay more than the record fee for a full-back - the £52m paid by Man City for Benjamin Mendy.
