Manchester United teenager sets TikTok ablaze with a sizzling array of skill against Denmark U21s

Manchester United youngster Ethan Galbraith has set TikTok ablaze with a sizzling array of skill for Northern Ireland U21s at the Ballymena Showgrounds.

Galbraith has gone viral after producing a mesmerising cameo of close control in a recent 1-0 Euro qualifying defeat to Denmark at the Warden Street venue.

At last time of checking the TikTok footage, uploaded by the Irish FA’s media team, has been watched more than one million times on the popular social media platform.

In less than a week, it has also garnered more than 100,000 likes.

In the clip, entitled ‘E to the G’ and accompanied by Millie B’s ‘M to the B’, Galbraith is seen beating a raft of Danish players with a combination of quick feet and razor-sharp skill.

One opponent performs an unintentional ‘splits’ following a Zinedine Zidane ‘roulette spin’, before another is sent for a proverbial loaf of bread with a 'Cruyff turn'.

Two more Danish players are then left in his wake before the talented teenager slaloms past another despairing challenge before passing the ball to a teammate.

You can watch it in all its glory below...

Galbraith, still only 19, is one of Northern Ireland’s rising stars and made his senior debut in a 1-0 friendly win over Luxembourg at Windsor Park last year.

He was also on the bench for last week’s 5-1 Nations League defeat to Norway in Belfast before starring for the U21s against Denmark 20 hours later.

The Glengormley-born playmaker is highly regarded at Manchester United where he has been a regular in the Old Trafford club’s U23 set-up.

The young midfielder, who joined United in 2017, made his senior debut in a Europa League defeat to FC Astana in Kazakhstan last November.

He also came on as a half-time substitute for Scott McTominay in Saturday’s 1-0 preseason defeat to Aston Villa at Villa Park.

On his Instagram account, Galbraith said of his second half appearance against Villa: "Great to get on yesterday, loved every minute, always learning."
