Four players missed training on Monday as Manchester United prepare for their Champions League clash with Valencia.
United, who host the Spanish side on Tuesday, suffered a third defeat in seven Premier League games this season when they were beaten 3-1 at West Ham on Saturday.
But their bid to bounce back at Old Trafford could well be hampered with four of Jose Mourinho's squad missing the session on Monday morning.
Ashley Young, Jesse Lingard, Ander Herrera and Marcos Rojo were all absent at Carrington.
It remains to be seen who of the four, if any, will miss out on Tuesday with Mourinho likely to confirm more details in his press conference later today.
Meanwhile, Juan Mata has scaled back his regular blog amid United's current struggles, saying "it isn't really a time for posts."
Former Valencia midfielder Mata wrote on his blog on Monday: "Today, my blog post is shorter than usual.
"In fact, it isn't really a time for posts. I want to thank all of you who support us during these tough times. I understand your frustrations.
"The upcoming game against Valencia is a special one for me, but above all it is another chance to get back to winning ways."
