United target Casemiro
Manchester United have approached Real Madrid about the possibility of signing midfielder Casemiro.
The 30-year-old is under contract at Real until 2025 and played an instrumental role in their Champions League final victory over Liverpool in May.

It is unclear if Casemiro is receptive to joining United or whether his representative is using United as a negotiation tactic to obtain an improved salary, but sources say Casemiro is deemed more attainable than Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
Casemiro has won the Champions League five times with Real and is a regular for the Brazil national team. United, bottom of the Premier League, face a season in the Europa League.

Musk jokes about buying United
Tesla founder Elon Musk has admitted that his tweet about purchasing United was part of a "long-running joke" that has been ongoing on social media.
The US billionaire took to Twitter on Tuesday evening to claim that he was buying the Old Trafford outfit. However, Musk, 51, clarified the meaning behind the tweet just a few hours later.
In his initial tweet, Musk posted: "To be clear, I support the left half of the Republican Party and the right half of the Democratic Party!
"Also, I'm buying Manchester United ur welcome."
