Matthijs de Ligt has reportedly been offered an eye-watering £11million a year from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Ajax superstar has become one of the biggest transfer targets of this window after helping the Dutch side to an impressive Champions League semi-final spot.
De Ligt is also wanted by Manchester United and Barcelona – but it appears PSG are frontrunners.
It was even claimed the centre-back’s agent, Mino Raiola, had been pictured in the French capital as he held talks with the Ligue 1 champions’ sporting director, Antero Henrique.
Raaiola branded the reports "fake news" but didn’t quash any speculation that PSG do want the 19-year-old.
Now it has been written by ESPN that de Ligt has been offered a jaw-dropping contract of £211,000 a week by the Parc de Princes club, with the five-year deal eventually worth a £55m over the period of his stay.
PSG are poised to let Marquinhos leave in order to help bankroll the colossal transfer.
The Brazilian centre-back is wanted by Juventus and could go for around £53m.
