Manchester United target Kalidou Koulibaly 'seeking move away from Napoli under new agent'

Manchester United target Kalidou Koulibaly has swapped agents, with his brother now 'taking control' of his affairs ahead of a transfer this summer, according to reports.

New United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not ruled out bringing a new centre-back to the club this summer and the Reds have been linked with a long list of them.

Napoli's Koulibaly has often been heavily touted, as well as Manchester United transfer target Raphael Varane considering quitting Real Madrid Leicester City's Harry Maguire and Ajax's Matthijs de Ligt.

Now the Independent report that the 27-year-old is now being represented by his brother as 'he seeks a life-changing contract' and a 'big-money move away from Napoli this summer.'

Koulibaly parted with his last agent, Bruno Satin, late last year.

Koulibaly has grown into one of the best centre-backs in the world in recent years and as a results there's no shortage of suitors, with Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain all reported to be pursuing the Senegal international.

While Koulibaly has an affinity with Naples, at 27 he is reaching his peak and is now seeking 'one of the biggest contracts for any defender in the world.'

The report adds that Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti is 'desperate' for his prized defender to stay but a bid in the range of £90-100m should be enough for Napoli to sell.

However, Koulibaly's contract doesn't expire until 2023 and the Serie A giants are under no obligation to let him go, with chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis is an infamously tough negoiator.
