Manchester United target Jack Grealish sends message to Dean Henderson

Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish sent a cheeky message to Dean Henderson after he sported a new look in Manchester United's weekend win over Burnley.

Henderson, 23, kept his place in goal for United on Sunday afternoon as they won 3-1 to keep their faint Premier League title hopes alive.

The English shot-stopper endured a difficult encounter after a shaky moment which led to Burnley scoring through Chris Wood, although the goal was quickly disallowed for offside, before defender James Tarkowski levelled from a corner.

However, perhaps the biggest talking point regarding Henderson's performance was the baseball cap he wore in order to block out the sharp Manchester sunshine.

Henderson often wore a baseball cap with a visor during his two loan spells at Sheffield United but has now carried over the habit to Old Trafford.

Taking to social media after the match the United goalkeeper uploaded a picture from the match with the caption "3 points, we keep going!!" to which United target Grealish posted a cheeky reply.

In the comment section the Villa star simply replied: "Chris Kirkland" followed by two clapping emojis as he compared his good friend to the former Liverpool and Wigan goalkeeper.

Kirkland is perhaps the most famous example of a top-flight goalkeeper in recent English football to have worn a hat during matches, having done so regularly during his time with Wigan.
