Manchester United target Declan Rice goes viral in #SingYourDialect challenge

Manchester United target Declan Rice has gone viral for his rendition of Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice on the Twitter Spaces #SingYourDialect show.

The England midfielder was enjoying some downtime after training with West Ham and watching the Champions League action when he jumped onto the social media platform to join in on a growing craze across the platform.

During his stint with the mic, he changed the lyrics "ice, ice, baby" to "Rice, Rice, baby" sending fans into a frenzy highlighting another skill in his repertoire as he becomes fiercely linked with a move away from East London.

His stock will undoubtedly rise after putting in a number of standout performances for both England and the Hammers in their push to improve on last season's Europa League finish.

Hosted by user jacobbmc2, on its second night, it reached 77,000 listeners with the 22-year-old breaking out the 1990-classic.

Whilst Rice couldn't muster up a fact no one knows about himself, he did disclose that his favourite video game was FIFA.

The Manchester Evening News understands that he has been earmarked as a principal midfield target in the summer transfer window.

With three years remaining on his deal at the London Stadium, it remains to be seen as to whether he will sign an extension in the capital but he has admirers in the North West.

And he has been tipped to succeed at Old Trafford with links likening him to former United captain Roy Keane by the Irishman himself.

"I think he would [improve United’s midfield]. I think Declan has improved more than any player I’ve seen over the last one or two seasons," he told Sky Sports in September.

"I know he’s been linked with United. If you said to me a year or two ago, I’d have said ‘no, let him stay a year or two to mature’.

"He’s 22 and I look to where I was, I think he’s way ahead of me when I was 22.

"I think the next step will come to him when he plays a higher level, and when I say higher level I mean for Man United, playing in Champions League, competing for trophies.

"He’s obviously a regular for England. The big plus for him is that there’s a lot more to come from him.

"I think that [cute final passes] will come with playing in bigger games. he’s always available, he’s a big presence out there and I think it’ll be a really big judge for him because I’m not a big fan of the Man United midfield lads; I think they’re a bit short."
