Manchester United target Bruno Fernandes 'to be left out' of Sporting CP's next fixture and more rumours

Bruno Fernandes will not feature in Sporting’s next fixture amid Manchester United’s transfer interest.

That is according to Record (via the  Express), who say Fernandes will not be used versus Maritimo on Monday as a result of the speculation regarding his future.

Fernandes has featured in Sporting’s last two fixtures - defeats to Benfica and Braga - as captain in the last week, as United continue to explore the signing of the Portugal international. He picked up an inventive assist in the Braga game, sending a quick free kick into the feet of former Barcelona defender Jeremy Mathieu to score.

As Fernandes left the pitch against Braga, Fernandes shoved a TV camera away after seeing his side reduced to eight men in the League Cup semi final defeat.

United have until next Friday’s transfer deadline to complete the signing of the playmaker, but MEN Sport understand the two clubs are still far apart on their valuations of Fernandes.

Meanwhile, United have been touted for a move for PSG teenager Eric Junior Dina-Ebimbe

French media outlet  RMC Sport claim that the 19-year-old has been the subject of United transfer interest, with the player currently on loan with French Ligue 2 side Le Havre.

The midfielder has impressed as Le Havre are aiming to get promotion to the French first tier, and the report suggests United could make their move in the summer.
