Manchester United target £105m striker; Arsenal and Chelsea to battle for midfielder: Norwich City star watched by Premier League scouts

Here is a look at the latest Premier League transfer gossip and rumours.

Manchester United to raid Portugal for future stars

Manchester United manager-in-waiting Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has set Benfica pair Joao Felix, 19, and Ruben Dias, 21, plus Sporting Lisbon’s 24-year-old Bruno Fernandes as his primary targets this summer reports the Mirror.

But the top clubs in Europe including Manchester City, Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid are also all monitoring the young stars who are all regular internationals for their country.

It’s why forward Felix has a £105million release clause, midfielder Fernandes’ buy-out cost is £95million while Dias has a value of £50million meaning United would have to spend at least £250m to land all three players.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Napoli to battle for midfielder

Premier League clubs Chelsea and Arsenal are set to do battle for midfielder Nicolo Barella this summer.

According to The Mirror Arsenal have identified Italy international Barella as a potential replacement for Aaron Ramsey, who is heading to Juventus this summer.

Central midfielder Barella, 22, has caught the attention of clubs across Europe playing for Calgliari and would cost around £27m. He was heavily linked with a move in January with Chelsea and Napoli both having been rebuffed in the winter window.

To make matters even more difficult for Arsenal boss Unai Emery, Calgliari are determined to fend off Barella's suitors and keep hold of the five-cap Italy ace.
