Manchester United 'target £100m Everton midfielder Richarlison'

Manchester United are in the market to sign Everton's Brazilian forward Richarlison, reports suggest.

Richarlison only joined Everton last summer for £50million from Watford — a fee that raised eyebrows after the Brazilian had only had one season in the Premier League.

But the 22-year-old impressed in his debut campaign at Goodison, scoring 14 goals in 38 appearances.

However, if United want to sign him, The Sun say Everton will demand a fee of £100million.

Barcelona have also been named as potential suitors for the Brazilian, who was named in his country’s Copa America squad this week. That fee may put United off, though the report claims Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side ‘have been put on red alert’ over Richarlison.

Meanwhile, United remain interested in Ruben Dias, according to a report in Portugal, but the defender is said to be close to finalising a new deal at Benfica.

A Bola say Dias is on the verge of signing a new contract that would almost double his release clause from €60m to €100m.

Finally, United are reportedly targeting a goalkeeper to replace David De Gea with contract talks stalling with the Spaniard.

Portuguese media outlet Record have claimed that Benfica’s Greek goalkeeper Odisseas Vlachodimos is on United’s radar in case De Gea moves on this summer.
