Manchester United have been handed a major transfer blow as Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti has made it clear he has no intention of allowing Kalibou Koulibaly to leave the club this summer, as reported by the Mail .

The Red Devils are keen to bolster their defence this summer and had identified the Senegal international as a prime target, although it seems they may have to set their sights elsewhere.

Blues tempt Hudson-Odoi to stay

Chelsea are ready to go for broke in an attempt to keep Callum Hudson-Odoi at the club this summer, with the Evening Standard stating the Blues are preparing a staggering contract offer of £100k-a-week for the teenager.

Hudson-Odoi made his England debut last week, even earning a start for the 5-1 drubbing of Montenegro, but he is yet to start a Premier League match and that has caught the attention of a number of clubs, including Bayern Munich.

Alderweireld turns to Turin

Tottenham Hotspur could lose central defender Toby Alderweireld to Juventus this summer as the Italian giants are considering making a move for the experienced Belgium international, the Mirror reports .

Alderweireld is expected to leave the north London side at the end of the season as a clause in his contract allows his services to be captured for a bargain price of just £25m.

Across London, Arsenal are eyeing a big addition of their own as it is claimed that the Gunners have opened negotiations with Barcelona for the services of central defender Samuel Umtiti, reports cited by the Mirror state .

Arsenal have also been handed a boost in chase of another defensive target, as the agent of Ajax full-back Nicolas Tagliafico has confirmed his client has rejected a new contract at the club, Football.London reports .

The South American defender is seen by Arsenal as an ideal replacement for the ageing Nacho Monreal but they will face a stern fight to secure his services.

Wolves hope to snare Jimenez

Elsewhere, the Telegraph reports that high-flying Wolves are on the brink of signing Mexico striker Raul Jimenez on a permanent basis after his impressive season on loan with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

The 27-year-old has scored 12 Premier League goals this season, with Wolves chasing a seventh-placed finish that could provide a passage into the Europa League next term.

Newcastle United could face a fight to retain the services of manager Rafael Benitez as Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande are eyeing a move for the Spaniard as a replacement for Fabio Cannovaro, the Mirror reports .

Benitez sees his current deal with Newcastle expire this summer but he has already turned down a move to the Chinese side in the past, although it remains to be seen whether his outlook has changed.
