Sancho to stay at Dortmund

Manchester United have suffered a transfer blow, with Jadon Sancho planning for next season with Borussia Dortmund.

The England star had been linked with a £100m move to Old Trafford but he now says he wants to try and win the Bundesliga with Dortmund after they narrowly missed out this season.

“Next season our target is to win, not come second,” Sancho said.

“I’m really happy with how I played this season. I wasn’t playing that much at the start of the season but was in the team more often later on. It’s all about hard work.”

Esposito scouts

The Express reports that Man City have joined the numerous clubs scouting Inter Milan youngster Sebastiano Esposito at the European under-17 Championships.

Esposito has scored four times to help Italy reach the final of the tournament in Ireland.

Liverpool are also keen on the rising star whose contract runs until 2021.

Arsenal eye bargain move

The Express also claim that Arsenal want to sign French prospect Alexis Claude-Maurice from Lorient.

The 20-year-old has netted an impressive 14 goals this season and is being closely watched by the Gunners.

He is an under-20 French international.
