Manchester United suffer Daniel James injury scare

Manchester United suffered another injury scare on Sunday after Daniel James was knocked out by a heavy challenge while playing for Wales.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in the midst of an injury crisis with Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial being sidelined while Marcus Rashford has also missed games through injury this campaign.

And for a time it looked as though James could be the latest to join them on the injury list.

The United winger went in for a challenge and Croatia defender Domagoj Vida's boot was high and hit the 21-year-old in the head and he went down immediately and wasn't moving as he lay on the ground.

James received lengthy treatment on the pitch and medical teams brought on the stretcher but the United winger got up and carried on playing despite looking like he was out cold moments before.

The incident led to fans on Twitter questioning whether the Wales international should have been allowed to carry on playing.

Can't believe it.

A disgrace.

How?

Dangerous.
