Manchester United have made their opening bid for Moussa Dembele - according to reports.
The former Celtic star was coy when asked about a potential move to Old Trafford last weekend and it appears United want a deal done quickly.
French-based Europe Soccer say United are waiting to hear back from Lyon after submitting a €45m bid for the France U21 striker.
Dembele only joined Lyon last summer from Celtic in a deal worth £19.8m, and Celtic will get more money from the French giants as part of a sell-on clause.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to rebuild his squad after a disappointing end to the season and Dembele could be a replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian was linked with a move to Inter Milan earlier this week.
Dembele was back in Glasgow last week as the Hoops lifted the league title and was questioned about a move to Manchester after the game.
He said: I signed for five years with Lyon and I'm happy there but we'll see what happens.
"I'm happy to stay with Lyon next season but we'll see."
