Manchester United starting line up vs Tranmere Rovers includes Diogo Dalot and Jesse Lingard

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made six changes to Manchester United's starting XI for their game against Tranmere in the FA Cup.

David de Gea, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Brandon Williams, Fred, Juan Mata and Daniel James have dropped out from the team that lined up against Burnley on Wednesday, with Sergio Romero, Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw, Jesse Lingard and Mason Greenwood coming in.

United are aiming for their first win since January 15 having suffered defeat in their last two games, away to Liverpool and at home to Burnley.

Commenting on the mood of the players after the defeat by Burnley, Solskjaer said: "Of course you're disappointed and you're down. It's not nice to lose games in football, you're here to win games.

"We had a behind-closed-doors match for some of them on Thursday with the Reserves and some of them had a day away to recover."

United line-up: Romero; Dalot, Lindelof, Maguire, Jones, Shaw; Matic, Pereira; Lingard, Martial, Greenwood

United subs: Grant; Bailly, Williams, Fred, Mata, James, Chong
