Manchester United are so determined to beat Real Madrid to the signing of Benfica starlet Joao Felix that they will meet his €120m release clause, reports in Portugal claim.
Felix is one of Europe's most highly-rated youngsters having scored 20 goals and adding 11 assists in 43 appearances this season - including an impressive hat-trick in the Europa League quarter final.
The 19-year-old has been linked with United for some time, but is not expected to be a cheap signing, with rumours of his release clause standing at €120m (£105m).
But now Record suggest United are pushing to ‘win the race’ for the Benfica starlet with Real Madrid also said to be keen on signing him.
