Manchester United star Paul Pogba sends message to Kurt Zouma after poor Chelsea start

Manchester United star Paul Pogba has reached out to fellow French international Kurt Zouma after the latter's rough start to the season at Chelsea.

Zouma was a key man for Everton during the 2018/19 Premier League campaign and the Toffees even wanted to keep him at Goodison Park ahead of the new season.

But a transfer ban at Chelsea increased Frank Lampard's desire to retain the 24-year-old defender, with Zouma starting for the Blues in their first two league games of the new campaign.

The centre-back produced a poor display at Old Trafford during United's 4-0 hammering of Chelsea and was uninspiring in the 1-1 draw with Leicester City.

Pogba, who himself started brightly in the aforementioned clash with Chelsea in Manchester, has since reached out to his friend and national team colleague and provided a kind message on Instagram.

Responding to a message Zouma posted on his own Instagram, Pogba replied with the simple message of 'Lion' with the emoji to boot, with Zouma's status liked by Cesc Fabregas also.

No doubt Zouma will be supporting his friend and France team-mate Pogba this evening too as United face Wolves at Molineux.
