Paul Pogba has has named fellow midfielders N'Golo Kante and Casemiro as the two toughest opponents he's ever faced during his illustrious career.
The Manchester United star has taken part in a Q&A session in which he piled the praise on two of his fellow midfield maestros, immediately picking them out ahead of any other player he has battled.
Pogba has faced French compatriot Kante many times during his Premier League career, while he has previously faced Casemiro in the Uefa Super Cup.
Speaking ahead of the weekend clash with Liverpool the 28-year-old took part in a quickfire interview with the club's official matchday programme.
"My toughest opponent on the pitch? To be honest, it's tough against N'Golo Kante," Pogba told United Review.
"Casemiro [of Real Madrid] too… he is a hard one also. I can't remember all of them; they're the first ones that come into mind that I had.
"Yes, those are the first ones. Maybe there are a few more players but I don't have the names now."
Pogba was also asked to pick out the most memorable match from his United career, to which he named the Manchester derby comeback win three years ago.
He added: "I would say because it's a memory of the game, the 3-2 versus Manchester City, because I scored two.
"We ended up winning, but if City won the game they were going to be champions against us. We avoided that, so I would say this one."
