Manchester United star makes prediction about the top four battle with Arsenal, Chelsea & Spurs

The race to finish in the top four looks set to go down to the wire for Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham.

With just two games left to play in the Premier League, the four sides are separated by just five points, with Spurs currently in third on 70 points, two points ahead of Chelsea in fourth, who are two points ahead of Arsenal in fifth, and three ahead of United, who sit sixth.

But while United are now the outsiders to claim a spot in the top four - and with it qualification for the Champions League next season - Jesse Lingard has not ruled out the possibility of the Red Devils doing so.

Indeed, he says he thinks that the race for the top four will come down to the final day, with the England international admitting that it is hard to predict what will happen.

"It's a tough one, the four teams are so evenly matched as you can see, there's only three points in it," the Manchester United man told Mirror Sport .

"It will probably go right down to the final day - I wouldn't want to say who will miss out, but it will be close, I'll give you that."

Manchester United face two of the sides currently in the bottom three in their last two games, with the Red Devils travelling to face bottom side Huddersfield Town on Sunday, before hosting Cardiff City on the final day of the season.

Meanwhile, Spurs travel to Bournemouth this weekend before ending the season at home against Everton, while Arsenal host Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend and end the season at Burnley, and Chelsea host Watford at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, before ending the campaign away at Leicester City.
