You may be missing football but something else may have to do for now - like having a peek inside their homes thanks to a classic MTV series.

The hit show Cribs will be returning to screens for a special 'Footballers Staying Home' edition and Jesse Lingard has got involved.

The Manchester United star has opened up the doors to his plush property for the series which been produced remotely, with the aim of keeping fans entertained during the coronavirus pandemic.

If you follow the 27-year-old on social media, you may have regularly had a little insight into his home life.

But now with the help of MTV, you can get a closer look at the five-bedroom property which features a cinema room and swimming pool.

The Cheshire mansion, thought to be worth around £3m, has sleek white hallways with decorative glass lamps.

And there's of course plenty of memorabilia hanging around including his 28 England caps and debut shirt and his first United kit.

But Jesse can't even remember how old he was at the time and has to call his mum for a helping hand.

The four-part series airs on June 1st across MTV’s network and will also feature Brazil midfielder Andreas Pereira, Belgian footballing legend Axel Witsel and FIFA 2017 female player of the year, Lieke Martens.

Speaking of his latest gig, the England international said: "I've been a massive fan of MTV Cribs since I was a kid and so I'm really excited to be a part of this Footballers themed edition.

"I'm most looking forward to showing everyone how I've been keeping active and entertained during lockdown!".
