Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has shared a photo of him holding his newborn baby daughter on social media.
The football community rallied around the 37-year-old, partner Georgina Rodriguez and their family upon the passing of their newborn twin son earlier this month. Anfield stood to applaud with United fans in the seventh minute in an act of support during Liverpool’s game against the Red Devils before Arsenal fans did the same on Saturday.
Both gestures were recognised and thanked by Ronaldo. After scoring against the Gunners, he made an emotional celebration, pointing to the sky in memory of his son.

Ronaldo publicly shared a photo of his newborn daughter, along with his family, for the first time last week. Now the Portugal captain has shared another photo of just him and his child.
In a post on social media on Saturday, he captioned the picture: ‘Love Forever’. A number of footballers reacted to the post, including Real Madrid superstar Karim Benzema, who sent a love heart. The name of Ronaldo’s newborn daughter has not yet been shared.
