Manchester United great Cristiano Ronaldo has been nominated alongside long-term rival Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski for the 2021 Best FIFA Men's Player award.
Re-established in 2016 - after six years where it was amalgamated with the Ballon d'Or - the coveted prize was won by Portugal captain Ronaldo upon its return and, once again, in 2017.
Luka Modric, Messi and Bayern Munich striker Lewandowski are the last three recipients.
Having spent 12 years with Real Madrid and Juventus, Ronaldo completed a sensational return to Old Trafford, from Italian giants Juventus, on deadline day.
His first spell at the Premier League giants resulted in 118 goals and 69 assists from 292 games.
During his second coming, the 36-year-old has netted nine times in 13 appearances - including five in the Champions League - to prove there is still more than enough in the tank at elite level.
And now the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has been further honoured in that regard.
Indeed, having already been named on the 30-player Ballon d'Or shortlist for 2021 - with that ceremony set to take place next month - Ronaldo has also been confirmed as one of the 11 nominees for the FIFA accolade which will be handed out in January.
