Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been nominated for the Premier League's Player of the Month for September.
Ronaldo made a stunning return to Old Trafford in the summer from Juventus and some questions were asked about how the 36-year-old would fare in England after 12 years away.
However, he has hit the ground running, scoring three goals in three appearances in English football's top flight, including two on his second debut for the club against Newcastle and a stunning late winning goal against Villarreal.
Ronaldo will face some stiff competition for the prize, as a number of high-class players have been named in the six-man shortlist.
Mohamed Salah made the cut after a strong start to the season with Liverpool, while Joao Cancelo and Antonio Rudiger have been excellent in defence for Manchester City and Chelsea respectively.
There are a couple of nominations from further down the division too, with Newcastle United's Allan Saint-Maximin and Watford's Ismaila Sarr both dazzling on the wings in September.
Ronaldo's goals have not been limited to the Premier League. He has also scored twice in the Champions League for United, including that dramatic 95th-minute winner over Villarreal on Wednesday.
Fans can select the winner of the award on the EA Sports website, with voting set to close on Monday, October 4 at 12 p.m. (BST).
