Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes opens up on playing with Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford

Bruno Fernandes insists it is already 'easy' playing with Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba as Manchester United prepare to restart their season against Tottenham.

Fernandes has not played with Rashford or Pogba in any of his nine appearances for United but the pair have recovered from back and ankle injuries to be available for the Friday night trip to Tottenham.

Pogba has not played for United since Boxing Day and Rashford's last outing was in the FA Cup third round replay win over Wolves on January 15. Both are expected to travel to London with the United squad.

Fernandes has galvanised United since his £68million move from Sporting Lisbon in the winter window and he lined up alongside Pogba and Rashford in an Old Trafford friendly with West Brom last week.

Rashford is still United's highest scorer this season on 19 but Pogba has only managed six starts in a campaign beset by ankle problems. The 27-year-old has made a full recovery and was filmed developing a telepathy with Fernandes against West Brom.

"We were in a great time with great results before this and we want to keep going," Fernandes told the United website. "For sure, everyone feels now that we have the capacity to do better and keep up the way we were doing before.

"I think linking up with Paul and Marcus is easy. They are two of the best players in the Premier League, they have qualities to help us a lot. They have already shown that and I think now with both of them back we will be stronger than before and this is good for us.

"Now everyone is fit and we can do better on the training pitch and obviously in the games."
