"F*** off" - Manchester United star Antony's security team clashes with fans during shopping trip

The security team of Manchester United winger Antony clashed with a small group of fans in Selfridges after they were apparently denied a request to take a photo with the Brazilian.

Antony, who was a top target for United manager Erik ten Hag throughout the summer, joined the club on transfer deadline day last month for a fee of around £85million. He has made an encouraging start to life at Old Trafford, scoring three goals in his first ten appearances in all competitions.

He scored in each of his first three Premier League appearances, including a stunning effort in the 6-3 defeat by Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium at the start of this month. His performances have improved, too, in recent weeks, as he has displayed a more complete look to his game.

In a clip that has now surfaced on social media, a small group of fans are keen to get a picture with United's newest attacking star after spotting him out shopping.

However, Antony turned the fans down, and his security team appeared to be unimpressed with the fact the group of fans were filming him without permission. One of the fans leading the plea for a photo said to Antony's security team: "How's he going to get famous if he doesn't take any pictures?"

A member of the security team replied, saying: "He said no. No is no. Go away. F*** off." Meanwhile, Antony could be seen strolling around and browsing.
