Manchester United squad vs Granada revealed with Marcus Rashford included

Marcus Rashford has been included in Manchester United's squad to face Granada on Thursday.

United are hoping to confirm their place in the Europa League semi-finals at Old Trafford and already have a 2-0 advantage following the first-leg in Spain.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is without several key players for the match, however, with Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay all suspended, with Anthony Martial and Eric Bailly being unavailable.

Rashford was also a doubt as he missed training on Wednesday due to a foot problem that has been troubling him for weeks, with Solskjaer telling United's in-house media : "Marcus didn’t train on Wednesday so I’ll have to give him as much time as possible. His foot is still a little bit sore, but, fingers crossed, he is available.”

Thankfully, the striker was pictured with the squad arriving at the Lowry Hotel ahead of the game on Thursday afternoon.

Another piece of positive injury news was that Daniel James is also in the squad after missing out on Sunday's victory over Tottenham with a knock.

David de Gea was photographed walking into the hotel behind Rashford and the goalkeeper is expected to start against the La Liga side after losing his place in the Premier League to Dean Henderson.

With United so short on numbers, especially in defence, Will Fish became the latest teenager to be promoted to the first-team squad for the match.

While the 18-year-old centre-back will be on the bench at Old Trafford, Solskjaer has been impressed with his qualities.

“He’s a very good talent," the Norwegian said. "A composed centre-back with physical stature. He’s one we believe in.

"Of course, we’ve lost a few defenders so to have Will on the bench is a good experience for him and he’s there if he’s needed and he’s ready.”

Fish was spotted arriving along with fellow teenagers Amad, Shola Shoretire and Anthony Elanga, all of whom will be hoping to get some minutes if United can get the tie wrapped up early.
