Manchester United squad vs Club Brugge revealed as Lindelof returns and Mason Greenwood misses out

Victor Lindelof could return for Manchester United against Club Brugge after missing Monday's win at Chelsea.

Lindelof was not involved in the 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge due to illness but trained on Wednesday morning before boarding a private flight to Bruges with the rest of the squad in the afternoon.

United remain without Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba through injury, while photographers did not spot Scott McTominay, Axel Tuanzebe, Mason Greenwood or Phil Jones prior to departure at Manchester Airport.

McTominay and Tuanzebe have not featured for United since December due to injuries but have both been training recently, while Greenwood did not take part in United's open training session on Wednesday morning.

Angel Gomes, Tahith Chong and James Garner are all already in Belgium for a reserve-team game against Brugge's U19s.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on the frustration over playing Monday and Thursday ahead of Europa League fixture against Club Brugge

Ahead of Thursday's game in Belgium, United playmaker Juan Mata warned his United teammates about the dangers of knock-out football.

"I think the key is not to make too many mistakes, because a very cheap goal can cost you in the competition," Mata said.

"So it’s about being focused on what you have to do, to play at your best level and to try to grow into the competition. It’s different than the Premier League, you can lose a game but you still have a chance to come back and win more points.

"In the Europa League, if you have a bad day you can be out of the competition, so you have to be really 100 per cent focused in every game."
