Manchester United squad numbers for youngsters ahead of Astana fixture

Manchester United face Astana in the Europa League group stage and, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side already securing qualification for the knockout stages, the Norwegian has decided to take a young side to Kazakhstan.

There could have been up to 10 debuts handed out for the final away game of the group stage with Solskjaer taking 14 youngsters with him on the trip and leaving the majority of the first team back at home with Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna to prepare for the Premier League game against Aston Villa on Sunday.

But from what Solskjaer said in his press conference it sounds like there will be six debuts. He confirmed Ethan Laird, Di'Shon Bernard and Dylan Levitt will all be handed their first starts while it's likely three other youngsters will come off the bench.

"It's obviously Lee's (Grant) first start, you're gonna see Ethan Laird, Dishon Bernard and Dylan Levitt from the start and the subs that come on, that'll be their debuts, so you'll see a few," Solskjaer said.

Mason Greenwood, Tahith Chong, Angel Gomes and James Garner have all travelled but have had their first team opportunities already but here's a look at the players who could make their first starts for the club and a reminder of the squad numbers they have.
