Manchester United squad for Europa League knockout stages revealed

Manchester United have received a double injury boost as Diogo Dalot and Victor Lindelof were among the players to travel with the first-team squad to Cologne on Sunday.

United have arrived in Germany ahead of tomorrow's Europa League quarter-final with FC Copenhagen and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is due to speak to the media later in the evening.

Full-back Dalot had missed the last-16 second leg win over LASK at Old Trafford with injury, but trained at Carrington on Saturday and was pictured with his teammates on the plane to Germany.

Another injury doubt, Lindelof trained on Saturday and was part of United's squad which flew from Manchester Airport on Sunday morning.

However, there was an injury blow as Phil Jones did not travel to Germany for the final tournament after being ruled out with a knee injury.

Among the confirmed squad members pictured on various players' Instagram accounts were David De Gea, Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo. Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic and Daniel James were also on the plane.

United then posted a picture of the squad on the steps of the plane, with teenagers Ethan Galbraith, Teden Mengi and Ethan Laird all present.

United's initial official picture only showed 22 players, so any missing players from the could still have travelled, including the likes of Harry Maguire, Fred and Anthony Martial.

Luke Shaw and Axel Tuanzebe, who have not been named in United's 30-man squad for the rest of the Europa League campaign, did not travel as they continue their recoveries from injury at home.

Shaw sustained an ankle injury in United's draw with Southampton in the Premier League last month, while Tuanzebe has not figured since the season restarted.

United confirmed squad members for Europa League final tournament: Bishop, De Gea, Grant, Dalot, Fosu-Mensah, Laird, Lindelof, Mengi, Wan-Bissaka, Williams, Fernandes, Galbraith, Garner, Pogba, Matic, Mata, Lingard, Pereira, Chong, Greenwood, Ighalo, James, Rashford.
