Manchester United squad arrives for training ahead of Wolves fixture

Manchester United players have been pictured arriving for training as they prepare for their second fixture of the new Premier League season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his side arrived at the club's Carrington training complex on Saturday morning as they get ready to face Wolves at Molineux on Monday night.

United will be hoping their hard work pays off when they make the journey to the West Midlands early next week and the side will be eager to improve their torrid record against Wolves.

Wolves did not taste defeat in any of their three fixtures against United last season and beat Solskjaer's side in both of the matches which were played at Molineux.

United will be without Eric Bailly for the match on Monday night, but Fred and Alexis Sanchez could both feature in the game as they continue to build fitness having missed much of pre-season.

Chile international Sanchez has been heavily linked with a move from United in the summer transfer window, but speaking ahead of the match the United manager backed him to turn his fortunes around at Old Trafford.

"Alexis is such a professional and he comes in working every single day really hard," Solskjaer said. "And he wants to be a part of this and it's these stories he's again that he's been put in the reserves, of course he hasn't. He's a part of our squad and a very, very good player.

"He's had three weeks now, he's a few weeks behind the rest but he's close to being part of it. We don't have the biggest forward line in numbers, so Alexis might end up playing a lot more games than you expect, because we expect him to come good at this club, he's quality.

"We've had a behind closed doors game, and he's training, he's doing a little bit of extras, he'll be gradually integrated into more and more playing time, but we'll have more behind closed doors games. With one game a week now, it's hard to keep players ticking, so we're arranging a few of them."
