Manchester United slammed by Paul Pogba's agent as he tries to force exit

Mino Raiola has slammed Manchester United over their treatment of Paul Pogba.

The midfielder is desperate to leave the club and his agent believes the club are failing to defend him from unfair criticism.

Raiola has previously claimed Pogba wants to leave the club but the Frenchman did travel to Australia with the team for pre-season.

It started with controversy after he was caught on camera appearing to row with Jesse Lingard as the squad walked along a road.

And Raiola feels that Pogba is being unfairly criticised and United aren't doing enough to help him.

In a statement to talkSPORT, Raiola said: "The player Pogba has done nothing wrong, he is being respectful and professional in every way.

"The club knows his feeling for a long time. Its a shame that other people only like to criticise without the right information and I’m also sorry that the club doesn’t take any position against this.

"Hopefully there will be soon a satisfying solution for all parties."

Real Madrid are favourites to sign the World Cup winner and reports in Spain suggest the two clubs will enter negotiations.

Another concern for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reports that senior members of the squad are unimpressed by his pre-season training, feeling that there's too much running and not enough ballwork.
