Manchester United should make three 'perfect' summer signings, says Wes Brown

Former Manchester United man Wes Brown has called on the club to make a big splash in the transfer window this summer by landing three “perfect” signings.

Having spent big money bolstering his backline with the likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire last summer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to focus on the other end of the pitch when the window reopens.

United are considered the front runners in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho, with England teammate Marcus Rashford leading the charm offensive to help seal the move.

In attacking midfield, it is two England hopefuls that have dominated the rumour mill, with Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Leicester’s James Maddison both regularly linked.

Rather than viewing it as an ‘either-or’ situation, Champions League winner Brown would like to seem them all at Old Trafford.

“I would have all three!,” he told Sky Sports. “Any one of those three would be great.

“Jadon Sancho would probably be number one, but James Maddison looks fit and ready and determined and would also be a great asset for the club.

“Jack Grealish is an individual that gets things done, takes control of the game and has his own style. Any one of those three would be perfect I think.”
