Manchester United's Paul Pogba names the best finisher he's played with

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba insists that Mason Greenwood is the "best finisher" that he has had the privilege of playing alongside, despite the latter's tender age.

Pogba made the admission after watching Greenwood net the winning goal in United's 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on Sunday afternoon.

The United academy graduate, who found the net for the third game running, net the only goal of the game with just ten minutes remaining, firing home an effort from an acute angle that was too powerful for Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa to keep out.

The strike epitomised Greenwood's start to the campaign, with the 19-year-old proving exactly why manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has installed so much trust and faith in him in the first few weeks of the campaign.

His match-winning effort against Wolves means that only Michail Antonio of West Ham United has more Premier League goals to his name so far this season, with Pogba paying the youngster the ultimate compliment after the game, hailing his finishing ability.

"Mason I think he’s more left footed, he dribbles more with his left but to shoot he shoots with both," Pogba told Stadium Astro.

"His finishing is unreal, he’s the best finisher I’ve seen, trained with.

"He’s the youngest but he’s just unbelievable and I hope he score more goals and improve and win titles.

"He’s very young and very talented and I want to push him even better."

Greenwood's strike against Wolves means that he now has scored 32 goals for United's first-team, which is a very, very impressive figure for a player of just 19-years-old.

Although he has not been called up to the England squad for next month's international break, the attacker will no doubt be relishing the prospect of being joined in attack by Cristiano Ronaldo when the Reds resume their Premier League campaign a-week-on-Saturday.
