Manchester United's Jude Bellingham chase heats up as starlet's parents are spotted at club's training ground

Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham's parents have been spotted leaving Manchester United's Carrington training ground.

It comes despite rumours suggesting he was very close to completing a move to Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

The highly-rated 16-year-old has burst onto the scene with the Blues and has scored four goals in 32 Championship appearances.

And now the Mirror report that his dad Mark was pictured driving away from Carrington with Bellington understood to be in the back seat of the 4X4.

United vice chairman Ed Woodward and transfer guru Matt Judge left the training ground an hour later.

Bellingham is yet to sign his first professional deal with Birmingham and earns just £145 a week on his scholarship contract.

It had been reported that he had agreed terms on a deal with Borussia Dortmund in what would be a record signing for the Bundesliga giants.

But the Mirror now say he could earn up to £100k-a-week if he signs on the dotted line with United in the summer.

Bellingham is currently the youngest player and youngest goalscorer in Birmingham's history.

United beat Manchester City on Sunday, with goals from Anthony Martial and Scotland star Scott McTominay.
