Manchester United's huge Jadon Sancho offer to threaten Chelsea plans as Liverpool eye move

Jadon Sancho is known to have been a Chelsea target for some time.

The young winger left Manchester City in 2017 to join Borussia Dortmund in the hope of securing some much-needed first team football.

And that move has proved to be the making of him, with the 19-year-old now one of the hottest young prospects in the world.

Clubs from across Europe have been trailing the attacker, but he has stayed loyal to the Bundesliga side who were so keen to take a chance on him.

However, reports suggest that Sancho has now made up his mind and will be leaving Dortmund at the end of the season.

The German side will be asking for well over £100million for their star man, who has been in phenomenal form since moving to the Westfalenstadion.

Manchester United and Chelsea appear to be the two frontrunners in the bid to land the young star, though the likes of Liverpool are also said to be interested, with the Mail reporting that the Reds have told Dortmund they want to sign him in the summer.

A move for Sancho is likely to be extremely costly, and the Mirror report that United will be offering the winger personal terms worth £200,000-per-week.

Chelsea's current top earners are rumoured to be on deals that fall far short of that amount, and so a deal for Sancho would likely make him the highest-paid player at the club if they did sign him.

Sancho has scored 12 goals and created another 14 in just 19 Bundesliga appearances this season, and in January became the youngest player ever to reach 25 league goals in Germany.

He has also become a regular England international since making his debut in 2018, and is expected to be one of the squad involved in Euro 2020 this summer.
