Manchester United's Dylan Levitt completes loan transfer to Dundee United

Dundee United have confirmed they've signed Manchester United's Dylan Levitt on loan.

Levitt, 20, has joined the Scottish Premier League side on a one-year season loan, which should accelerate his development by offering the youngster first-team opportunities and the chance to experience life away from United's academy ranks.

Although Levitt has made just one senior appearance for United, the academy graduate was included in Wales' squad at this summer's European Championship and he featured in the Reds' pre-season games against Derby County and Queens Park Rangers.

Levitt joins fellow United academy product Reece Devine in Scotland, who was recently loaned to St Johnstone.

"Dylan is a versatile midfielder who enjoys controlling games and producing assists for attacking players. "He's a young player with ambitions to play at the top level," said Dundee head coach Thomas Courts.

"I believe that he's capable of playing with all of our existing midfielders, but he brings something different, which will give us better options and more flexibility for the season ahead."

Levitt was on loan at Charlton last season, but he was handed sporadic involvement.
